I qualified in 1998. My post-graduate training has provided me with extensive exposure in the field of oral surgery. Using my passion for involvement in patient care and teaching, I have tried to build an academically and clinically strong career. I am a speaker for Thames valley and LKSS deanery (Health Education England) and conduct Hands-on Minor oral surgery courses for Dentists and deliver periodic lectures in oral surgery, including current thinking, aimed to boost confidence in oral surgical procedures. I have recently completed a post-graduate certificate program in medical education at Cardiff university and achieved a fellowship in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education by Advanced higher education academy. I am currently dedicating half my time to teaching and my other half to working as a specialty doctor in oral & maxillofacial surgery (Royal Berkshire hospital Reading and West Berkshire Community Hospital Newbury) and general practice limited to oral surgery.
