About Me

After completing my graduation from India, I have spent several years in post- graduate education in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Royal London Hospital, Leeds university Hospital, Mid Yorkshire Hospital Wakefield and Queen’s Hospital Romford.

My post-graduate training in the United Kingdom has provided extensive exposure in the field of oral surgery, and was awarded the membership from the Royal College of Surgeon’s England and successfully attained Fellowship from the Royal College of surgeon’s Ireland in oral surgery with oral medicine, confirming my academic knowledge and experience in the field.

I am currently working as a part time specialty doctor in oral & maxillofacial surgery at Royal Berkshire hospital, Reading and in general practice limited to oral surgery. I’ve published a number of articles in peer reviewed journals and also reviewer of oral surgery papers published in international journals

I deliver periodic lectures in oral surgery including current hot topics like medicine related osteonecrosis of the jaw, managing patients with new oral anticoagulants in general practice etc.

I'm a lecturer for the Thames valley deanery ( Health Education England) and conduct minor oral surgery courses  for Thames valley deanery across Berkshire Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire for General Dentists which involves series of lectures and hands on practical sessions on Pig's jaw to learn and practice appropriate  use of elevators, luxators, different forceps and surgical extraction  techniques including flap elevation,bone removal, tooth division  and suturing techniques, aimed to boost the confidence tocarry out simple to complex extraction effectively including how to identify risks and manage complications in general practice
